Plastics
Many plastics cannot be recycled and are always disposed of in general skip bin. However, there is some co-mingled waste that contains recyclable materials such as:
- Plastic bottles and containers
- Glass bottles and jars
- Milk and juice containers
- Coffee cup lids
At the recycling facility, these products are separate out from the mixed waste. They are placed separately according to the type (bottles, jars, containers) and then bulked up. Once enough of them are accumulated, they are sent to manufacturers for reprocessing.
Often it is difficult to separate recyclable and non-recyclable plastic waste. In this case, we
help our customers and provide them with separate recycling bins for plastics and dry mixed waste.
Metals
Many metal items cannot be recycled. It includes anything from a hole punch machine to utensils. All these items should discard in a general skip bin.
